For some reason, they never took notice of each other in high school. They knew each other, yes, but it was only after the dramas of being teenagers that their friendship developed, and transitioned into a relationship. Sue, now an elementary school teacher and Derek, an urban planner, are enjoying life to the fullest. Their wedding was very much reflective of how they like to live -- full of life, laughter and love.
